What is FaceTite?

FaceTite, or radiofrequency assisted liposuction, is a lower downtime alternative to a traditional incisional facelift procedure. The procedure uses three small hidden incisions and a handheld device emitting radiofrequency energy to melt fat and stimulate collagen production. Liposuction is then used to suction out the melted fat, while the energy from the radiofrequency handpiece leads to a tightening effect on the skin.

FaceTite is a great option for patients looking to address loss of lower face and jawline contour, reduce jowling and eliminate double-chin in Greenwich, CT and Westchester, NY. A consultation is necessary to determine whether you are an appropriate candidate for the treatment and can benefit from its effects. FaceTite is not intended to replace a surgical facelift, but is a good bridging option for those who wish for a less invasive option that can provide some improvement or who are not ready for or interested in incisional surgical facelift in the near future.

What Does FaceTite Feel Like?

FaceTite is a minimally-invasive procedure that is comfortably done using local anesthesia or light sedation in combination with a small wand to apply radiofrequency energy. Patients can expect to feel some pressure sensation during the treatment. The device has built-in safety temperature control and shuts off automatically when the skin is heated to the target level.
