Minimally-Invasive Eyebrow Lift

While there are numerous surgical techniques to address brow droop and lift the position of the brow, the endoscopic approach offers the most aesthetic and desirable result. Endoscopic brow lift involves careful placement of five small and hidden incisions in the hairline, through which a thin, illuminated or lighted telescope can be used to visualize the internal anatomy and allow for safe release of the ligamentous attachments of the brows. Once released, the tissues can be elevated to a predetermined amount depending on the pre-operative patient assessment.

In some cases, self-dissolving implants (Endotines) are placed deep along the upper forehead to safely lift and secure the new eyebrow position to the deeper tissues. The endoscopic approach with endotine placement allows for lifting and contouring of the eyebrow and forehead, and the results are long-lasting and natural. The procedure is typically performed under sedation or general anesthesia in an outpatient facility.

Recovery is similar to other periocular procedures, lasting approximately 1-2 weeks with most patients resuming normal daily activity (including driving) within a few days.
